A charm bag is a physical vessel created by bringing meaningful ingredients together with your energy and intention.
Each element within your spellwork carries a purpose. The candle flame represents transformation and focused energy. Moon Salt brings grounding and protection to the working. As each ingredient is added with intention, the completed charm bag becomes an anchor for the magic you have created.
It becomes something tangible to return to—a reminder of what you are cultivating, protecting or welcoming into your life.

Working With Your Charm Bag
The Moon Weaver’s Scroll & Herbarium and Continuing Your Spellwork card are lovingly offered as guides, not rulebooks.
The spellwork, affirmations and suggested uses we’ve shared are simply starting points for working with your charm bag.
You are welcome to follow the guidance exactly, adapt it to your own practice, combine it with forms of spellwork you already connect with or simply allow it to inspire you.
There is no single “right” way to practise. Hold your charm bag during moments of reflection, keep it near while working toward your intention, carry it with you or place it somewhere meaningful.
Your intuition is one of your greatest magical tools. Trust what feels meaningful and allow your practice to become uniquely your own.
Caring for Your Charm Bag
Storing Your Charm Bag

Keep your charm bag somewhere cool and dry.

Avoid moisture and prolonged direct sunlight to help preserve the herbs, crystal, fabric and colour.

If carrying it with you, place it somewhere secure where the bag and its contents will not be damaged.

Keep your charm bag and its contents out of reach of children and pets.
Cleansing
If it feels aligned with your practice, you may choose to cleanse your charm bag using:

Breath and intention

Smoke passed safely around the outside of the charm bag

Another spiritually appropriate method that does not expose the bag to moisture, heat or damage
After cleansing, hold your charm bag, reconnect with its intention and repeat an affirmation or invocation from your included guidance. If you choose to light a candle, always place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface and never leave it unattended.
Returning Home
Life moves in seasons.
There may be days, weeks or even months when your charm bag rests quietly on your altar, beside your bed, in your bag or on a shelf.
That doesn’t mean you’ve failed, and your charm bag doesn’t lose its meaning simply because you haven’t worked with it for a while.
When you’re ready, simply return.
Hold your charm bag. Take a deep breath. Reconnect with the intention you placed within it.
Your magic has been patiently waiting for you.

Your Charm Bag Kit brings together herbs, a crystal, spellwork tools, curated guidance and symbolism. Each ingredient carries traditional associations, but these meanings are offered as invitations rather than rigid rules.
Your included Herbarium shares our interpretation of each ingredient and explains why it was selected for your chosen intention. The deeper meaning grows through the energy, intention and personal practice you bring to the spellwork.
